Front Desk Supervisor – Job Description.
The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily front desk operations and ensuring excellent guest service at all times. This role supports the Front Office Manager and helps maintain smooth and efficient hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise front desk staff and provide ongoing training and guidance.
- Ensure all guest check-ins and check-outs are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Address guest concerns, complaints, and special requests in a timely manner.
- Monitor room availability and ensure proper room assignments.
- Ensure accurate cash handling, billing, and payment processing.
- Maintain communication between housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments.
- Ensure staff follow hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Handle escalated situations and provide solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures.
- Support management with administrative duties and daily front office operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel front desk experience required.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced.
